Cancellation Policy

• If the tenant cancels a confirmed Booking, he or she will be subject to the cancellation policy. The advertiser will receive any remaining cancellation costs after our service fee and booking costs have been deducted.
• The deposit is fully refunded when the booking is cancelled. The cancelling tenant must provide bank account details including Iban and Swift in case of international payments.

Section 18, subsection of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. 2 applies, which means that the law’s deadlines and provisions on the general right of withdrawal (§ 19) are invalid.

Minimum Age Restriction:      30 years

• 2000 kilometers are included.
• Fuel tank is full on collection and must be returned full. If not the
• Frying, microwave and ovens are not allowed.
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was collected. This means clean inside and out without any form of damage to both inside and outside.
• All damage, missing pieces, extra cleaning are at the expense of the tenant.
• Toilet, refrigerator, cabinets etc. must be empty and clean.
• The inventory is known by the tenant.
• Cleaning by the tenant is not done with high pressure or abrasives. Plastic parts are cleaned with the special detergent found in the restroom cabinet.

Extra cost

• Cleaning by our services inside. €100 / 750 DKK per started hour.
• Emptying and cleaning toilet cassette €135 / 1000 DKK
• Discharge waste tank €54 / 400 DKK
• In case of late arrival according to agreement, €67/ 500 DKK per started hour will be charged (Depart on time and consider possible traffic disruption.)
• Damage to the interior, lost items from the inventory, broken tires/rims will be charged when the deposit is refunded. If the damage is greater than the deposit, the difference must be paid by the tenant.

Keys, remote control, and motorhome documents must not be left unattended. In case of theft, loss, or damage there will be a fine of 300 EUR / DKK 2000 plus costs of replacement. Cost of replacement is covered by the insurance.

Smoking in the motorhome is prohibited. Violation of this is charged with 300 EUR / 2000 DKK for cleaning service.

The motor home must be returned in a clean condition inside and outside. If cleaning has not been done, the cost of cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit. The charge is 150 EUR / 1000 DKK.

The motorhome must be returned fully fueled. If not the cost of refueling plus 40 EUR / 300 DKK will be charged.

Collection and return by appointment in the early evening. Due to varying hours this can vary a bit but usually available around +/- 6 pm.

Insurance:

Apart from the insurance of the rented mobile home, you need consider

• Accident insurance: Covers if an injury causes permanent damage, also covers even if the injury occurred abroad.
• Travel insurance: Covers, among other things, hospitalization, and return travel (the blue EU card only offers help on the same terms as the country’s citizens)
• Contents insurance with liability insurance: Covers, for example, possessions if you are robbed, your hotel room is broken into or if your rental vehicle is broken into. Also covers if you damage other people or other people’s things and are made liable for damages.

The rented mobile home insurance covers travels within Denmark and other countries covered by the green-card system. Exceptions are Belarus, Russia, Israel and Ukraine.

Included:

Renter´s excess:

Tenants own risk pr. Insurance incident: 671 EUR / 5000 DKK.

Repair of stone throw is without charge if it can be repaired by gluing.

Other conditions:           

The insurance does not cover damages in case of filling petrol on a diesel car and driving with too little oil or water. In case of such events, the renter will be charged the costs of repair directly.

The renter or the owner must follow instructions from the insurance company about bringing the vehicle to a repair shop.

Liability and comprehensive insurance are included in the rental period.

The renter’s excess on the comprehensive insurance is DKK 5,000. The renter is also fully liable for any damage that is not covered by the insurance, including for damage caused by the renter´s negligence when handling the camper. The renter is made aware that the insurance for glass damage incl. falling stones or hail is a deductible of EUR 200 / DKK 1500. Settlement takes place upon delivery.

The lessee is responsible for any damage to the rented vehicle, until a possible third-party liability is established.

The general SOS INTERNATIONAL regulations apply. According to these provisions, a possible return transport from abroad covered. Personal belongings are not covered by the motorhome insurance.

Please note that the insurance covers the vehicle but not its passengers. Personal injury is thus not covered by the insurance.

Compensation Limits

The lessor is not responsible if the rental agreement is not carried out locally for reasons for which the lessor is responsible, including missing or invalid documents at pick-up that do not meet the minimum requirements for the rental, or inability to drive due to consumption of alcohol, drugs, medication etc.

The landlord is only responsible for compensating for financial losses resulting from the employees’ intentional or grossly negligent actions.

In cases of simple negligence, the lessor’s liability and the amount of compensation must be limited to the foreseeable losses typical of the agreement.

Compensation can only come into question in cases where a breach of a contractual obligation has particular significance for the fulfillment of the contract.

In case of theft and more

The insurance covers damage to furniture if a police report is recorded on the spot and a copy of this is taken home. It is the tenant’s responsibility to file a police report.

The tenant’s own contents insurance normally covers the tenant’s property if it is reported to the police. The landlord has no responsibility for theft of personal property etc. similar.

Tenant’s Responsibility

The lessee has full responsibility for the camper during the rental period, including water, oil, air, punctures, rock falls, etc. The lessor is not liable for damage that occurs based on the lessee’s negligence by not carrying out general maintenance and inspection of the motorhome during the rental period.

Any mechanical faults which are not due to the lessee’s negligence or behavior in any other way are covered by the lessor by further agreement and cannot be carried out unless it is done by specific agreement with the lessor. Repairs must be carried out by an authorized workshop.

It is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure payment of any parking fees, bridge fees, road fees etc. as well as any traffic offences, as these are beyond the lessor’s control. However, the motorhome is registered with Brobizz with number plate registration. Any Brobizz charges during the rental period are settled upon return of the motorhome.

Wear and tear etc.: Repairs over DKK 1,000 must be agreed with the lessor before repairs. The bill is paid by the lessor upon return, if it has been agreed (however, this does not apply to stone chipping, cf. section on insurance). The tenant is liable for wear and tear repairs that are due to the tenant not having treated the motorhome according to the car’s manual (supplied) or the printed manual of the accommodation unit.

Self-inflicted Damage

Incorrect filling of diesel oil into the freshwater tank entails replacement of the tank, hoses and hot water tank. This replacement is not covered by the insurance and must therefore be paid for by the tenant. Such damage amounts to approx. DKK 30,000.

Damages following incorrect operation of the car or installations in the camper are also not covered by the insurance and must therefore be compensated by the tenant. This is not covered by the tenant´s excess.

The above is to be paid upon return of the motorhome.

Pickup and Return

On collection, the renter will be given a checklist to review the car for possible defects. The motorhome must be cleaned inside and refueled.

You are not entitled to any kind of refund if you return a vehicle before the scheduled and agreed date, if the takeover of the vehicle is delayed due to an error on your part, or if you decide not to use the vehicle.

The lessor does not live at the rental address and there is therefore only staffing on site in connection with delivery and collection.

If you do not collect your motorhome on the agreed date, it is considered a no-show and your rental will be forfeited. Should it happen that you, due to e.g. flight delays prevent you from showing up on the pick-up day, the lessor must be notified as soon as possible. Contact the landlord. Failure to do so may result in a vehicle not being ready for your arrival.

During the Travel

The tenant is given a contact list upon collection, so that the tenant can contact the lessor with questions or otherwise. Reservations are made that on weekends and in the evenings after 18, the opportunity to contact the landlord is limited. In case of accidents or likewise, that makes the motorhome unable to drive, the tenant must contact SOS INTERNATIONAL, who will aid and possibly towing.

Any fines that cannot be directly and undoubtedly attributed to the lessor are attributed to the lessee of the motorhome.

The tenant must be aware that the permitted total weight of 3500 kg is not exceeded. Any fines for exceeding the weight limit are paid by the tenant.

Reservations and Guarantee from the Lessor

If the rented vehicle cannot be delivered due to serious damage, fault, mechanical breakdown, late delivery by the previous renter, etc., the lessor tries to procure a similar vehicle from another lessor. If the replacement vehicle varies in size, only the rental difference will be refunded if the vehicle is smaller in size/cheaper in price than the rented one. The rent difference is calculated as the difference between the motorhome that the tenant has rented from the lessor and the rent that the lessor must pay for the rental of a replacement vehicle. If it is impossible for the lessor to provide a replacement vehicle, the full rent and deposit will be refunded. No further compensation is provided.

The tenant cannot claim compensation for lost holiday caused by an accident with the rented motorhome.

The tenant cannot claim compensation for lost holidays because of mechanical faults or in the event of any faults in the motorhome’s technical installations.

If a fuse blows during the tenancy, the water pump becomes defective or other minor technical faults occur, it is the tenant’s duty to have these things rectified. The tenant is free to purchase new parts up to max. DKK 1,000, which is refunded on submission of documents. However, it is good custom to inform the landlord by either SMS, email or call and a maximum of 5 parts can be purchased for a maximum of DKK 135 EUR / DKK 1000. The landlord must be contacted for prior permission if multiple purchases or purchases over 135 EUR / 1000 DKK are necessary.

Driver’s license/Passport

It is the renter’s responsibility to ensure that you travel with a valid passport (and visa if required). The person or persons driving the motorhome must also bring a valid driving license. Passport and driving license, (international) health insurance card as well as an internationally recognized payment card must be brought with you when picking up the motorhome.

The lessor reserves the right for typographical errors, equipment, prices, and descriptions.
